| Packing a four legged suitcase |
|
Anyone getting ready to leave with his or her pet, should never forget to carry along a small suitcase for him/her. The daily objects that are familiar to him/her will allow you and them to enjoy a more serene and happier holiday. This is what you should never forget while packing your four-legged suitcase: - The certificate from the regional dog registration office, health service card, and, if required by the local authorities of the place you intend to go to, a health certificate, rabies vaccination card and European passport. - Unbreakable and easily washable food and water bowls. It is best also to have a folding bowl, especially when you intend to go on long walks, so that it may be easily removed from your handbag and be employed to quench the thirst of your four-legged companion. - The right amount of food (dry or wet), bearing in mind that is not always easy to find the kind your cat or dog prefers everywhere. - Your dog waste scoop. - The cat litter and tray. - Any particular medicines your pet needs to take. - Parasiticides and a mini-first aid kit arranged with your vet's help. - An extra collar, leash and muzzle. - His or her bed. - Coat and raincoat, depending on the weather of the place where you will spend your holidays. - Animal hygiene items (comb, wipes, his/her own towel). - Some of his/her favourite toys. |
